TreeView inclusive TreeView Builder
A modern, HTML-based TreeView built for Microsoft Access — designed to replace outdated ActiveX controls once and for all.
This isn’t just an alternative. It’s a significant upgrade.
The component is easy to use and integrates seamlessly into your Access environment. The tree structure can be generated from a table and managed through a built-in builder, where all configurations are stored.
In addition, you can use a file path as a source, allowing the TreeView to visualize folder structures — similar to what you’d expect from a file explorer.
By moving away from ActiveX, this approach also helps eliminate common security risks, making your applications more robust and future-proof.
I’m currently exploring the idea of adding SQL statements as an additional data source — more flexibility is on the way.
The project is still under active development, but already performs reliably and shows great potential.
Feel free to explore, test, and share your thoughts — feedback is always welcome.
